Introduction
In this unit, we explore some mathematical/statistical techniques relevant to students interested in the optimal operation of a manufacturing and distribution supply chain. This unit builds on previous mathematics studies to consider advanced topics in supply chain modelling and optimisation.

- 2 Solve complex Industrial and Systems engineering problems of industrial and societal significance through the application of discipline-specific and integrated bodies of knowledge, design and sustainability principles
Assessment Breakdown
Recent Unit Changes & Response to Student Feedback
Students are encouraged to provide feedback through student surveys (such as Insight and the annual Student Experience Survey) and interactions with teaching staff. Listed below are some recent changes to the unit as a result of student feedback.- Enhancing lecture delivery, such as incorporating more interactive elements, examples, and explanations beyond the slides.
